Chef
$25 – $34.99 per hour. Part time
Grant St Grocer is owned and run by Lisa and Al Harding. They are long time passionate foodies, and the business is 8 years old and growing.
We are an established, licenced high end cafe and produce store in Regional Victoria. Grant St Grocer has earned itself a reputation for fresh, interesting meals served in a beautiful ambience with friendly service.
We have a service kitchen and a food production kitchen where we make our own line of Take Home Meals and inhouse pastries.
When you’re not working, there are so many outdoor activities to keep you occupied. We’re close to Lake Eildon, Marysville, Lake Mountain and a bunch of beautiful rivers to fish in or picnic beside on your days off.

Job tasks and responsibilities
Work will be varied and will include:
- Work in our cafe service kitchen
- Dinner service once a month for our World dinners series
- Preparation of food for our produce store
- Breakfast and Lunch shifts
- Rotating weekends
Skills and experience
You’ll be a Chef, either graduate or highly experienced. You will have a strong knowledge of both old school and modern cooking techniques. Costings, recipe writing and ordering will be part of your job.
You need to be both self motivated and a team player. Passionate for food and maintaining high standards and great quality at all times.
