Distance: ~130 km (approx. 131–132 km by most road routes)
Travel time: About 1 hour 47–52 minutes, depending on traffic and exact start point
Typical route:
1. Head out of the city via La Trobe Street → Hoddle Street
2. Merge onto the Eastern Freeway/M1 toward Ringwood
3. Continue onto the Ringwood Bypass, then join the Maroondah Highway (B300/B360)
4. Follow Maroondah Highway northeast through Lilydale, Healesville, Yea to Alexandra
Shepparton to Alexandra
– Driving
Distance: ~112 km
Travel time: ~ 1 hour 35 minutes
Typical route:
1. Start in Shepparton and take the Goulburn Valley Highway (B340) southbound.
2. Pass through Arcadia towards Seymour.
3. Continue past Seymour, through Yea, and follow local roads into Alexandra.
Wangaratta to Alexandra

Travel time: Around 1 hour 45 minutes with non‑stop driving on main highways
Typical route:
The most direct route follows the M31 (Hume Freeway) southbound from Wangaratta, then continues through Euroa and Violet Town, before turning onto the Goulburn Valley Highway (B300/B340) and eventually linking with the Maroondah Highway (B360) into Alexandra.
